Committed to care

In 2016. Wood pledged to help the ARCHIE Foundation renovate the reception area and create a garden in the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital. Innovative fundraising activities by Wood employees throughout the UK, including an art exhibition, golf days, a team climbing 10 Munros, racing the Baker Hughes 10k and bake sales, all contributed to the largest single sponsorship package ever received by The ARCHIE Foundation. A total of £265,000 was raised. These funds helped to create one of the most child and family friendly health care institutions anywhere in the world.
