Wood has been developing solar power market equipment since 1973. The technology was first started by our Solar Development Corporation in support of 27 thermal solar projects and studies for the US Department of Energy and major utilities.

Recovery of process heat for further use achieves the objectives of fuel economy and improved environmental emissions. Wood has world-wide experience in this specialised field, primarily with developing systems which cool hot gases and where the heat removed is used as additional energy.
