Our Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) culture relies on strong leadership, personal accountability and a commitment to achieving excellence. This is fundamental to executing our operations in a responsible and sustainable manner.

Wood is also a founding member of Building Responsibly, a coalition of businesses committed to promoting the rights and welfare of workers, specifically for those in the engineering and construction industry.

Inclusion & diversity

At Wood our commitment to inclusion and diversity is part of the way we do business and is fundamental to our efforts in creating a great working environment and culture where the variety of cultures, backgrounds and perspectives within our business are respected.

Our actions in this area include ensuring diversity & inclusion considerations are embedded in our people processes including recruitment and selection processes and expanding employee networks to celebrate and support diversity of thought. We are also committed to quarterly reviews of the gender diversity of our leadership and management teams and the wider organisation to ensure our succession plans reflecting a broad range of background, experience and thought leadership.
