Amec Foster Wheeler announces today that its employees won all three awards presented at the UK nuclear industry’s biggest annual ceremony.
They were recognised in front of 1,500 guests at the Nuclear Industry Association/ Nuclear Institute annual dinner in London.
The awards went to:
- Michael Greenshields, a civil engineer, winner of the Young Professional of the Year award;
- Richard Crawford, a nuclear analyst and mathematician, winner of the Pinkerton Prize for the best technical paper published in Nuclear Future magazine in 2014; and
- Greg Willetts, Consultancy Director, winner of the Outstanding Contribution Award in recognition of Amec Foster Wheeler’s support for the development of young professionals through its work with the Nuclear Institute’s Young Generation Network.
It is an unprecedented achievement for one company to win all three awards and reflects the outstanding qualities of the people who work for us. I should like to congratulate the winners, whose work exemplifies the best that the nuclear industry has to offer.
Clive White, President of Amec Foster Wheeler’s Clean Energy business
