In March 2014 our employees pledged to support one of Scotland’s leading children’s charities, The ARCHIE Foundation, in their 'High 10 for ARCHIE' appeal.

The appeal is a 10 step campaign to transform Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital into a world-class facility for today and tomorrow’s sick children.

We pledged we’d raise £200,000, the biggest single sponsorship package ever received by The ARCHIE Foundation. We pledged we’d use these funds to support two of the campaign’s steps, the renovation of the reception area of the hospital, and the garden and play areas at its front and rear.

And that’s what we’re doing.

It took us just six months to reach the halfway point of our fundraising target, with Wood Group employees running, cycling, baking and showing their creativity with events such as art exhibitions and silent auctions.

Our fundraising endeavours are ongoing with our ambitious target firmly in our sights.

Tony Dinozzi, Group Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at Wood Group and one of the driving forces behind the fundraising for the appeal says: “Wood Group has strongly supported The ARCHIE Foundation since its conception 10 years ago. The enthusiasm and drive of our employees demonstrates our passion for helping people in the communities we work in. We know this appeal will make a huge difference to the lives of sick children and their families.” To support our fundraising for the High 10 for ARCHIE appeal click  here
