Amec Foster Wheeler’s President Oil & Gas Americas, Thomas Grell, will be participating as a panelist alongside the industry's top engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firms at Hart Energy’s Viewpoints: Executive Energy Club breakfast on 22 September 2016 at the Omni Houston Hotel in Houston, TX.

Companies plan billions of dollars of near-term refining CAPEX but in today's low oil-price environment, downstream oil and gas projects - large and small - must focus on improving cost and schedule performance to be effective (and profitable). On Thursday at 8:30am local time, Thomas Grell will take part in a panel discussion on ‘Refining the Buildout: How to Optimise Downstream Projects On The U.S. Gulf Coast’. More specifically, he will talk about optimising execution strategies for small-scale downstream projects.

Like large-scale capital projects, small-scale projects demand equal if not more attention to stay within budget and on schedule. Early client engagement, assessing options, selecting final configuration, and efficient delivery by lean multi-disciplined teams can help achieve realistic goals. Amec Foster Wheeler is pleased to share its views on this important topic with this community.
