Wood has been awarded a contract with Apache to provide commissioning services to the Beryl Alpha, Beryl Bravo, and Forties Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta platforms located in the North Sea.

Apache has embraced the transition from traditional paper-based completions to a fully digital route by leveraging Wood’s internally developed online completions management system for construction and commissioning, GoTechnology hub2.

GoTechnology hub2 provides the capability for managing all elements of the completions process. Every element can be visualised and reported on in real time, and the solution is supported by mobile apps for offline usage and offers integration with third party tools such as engineering data warehouses, project planning tools and maintenance management systems.

The system combines the latest in responsive design and scalable virtual infrastructure with a heritage of over 30 years, pairing decades of experience with market-leading innovation.

Matt Nesbitt, Wood’s vice president of commissioning, comments: “GoTechnology represents Wood’s commitment to driving value for our customers through innovation, agility and ingenuity.

“This contract award highlights the important steps we have taken with Apache to continually challenge ourselves, maintain high standards and be more cost effective.

“We look forward to continuing our valued relationship with Apache towards the successful delivery of this commissioning contract.”

Hub2 is the latest generation of Wood’s GoTechnology family of online, web-accessible completions and commissioning management solutions.
