Wood has appointed Joe Sczurko as executive president for strategy & development.
Bringing more than three decades of diverse industry experience, Joe moves into the role from his position as president - strategy and development for Wood’s Environment & Infrastructure Services.
Prior to the formation of Wood in 2017, Joe worked for Amec Foster Wheeler and has more than 30 years continued service in the business, including both operational management and business development roles in consulting, engineering, operational services, and project delivery.
Joe is a registered professional engineer and past president of ACEC-Maine. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Brown University, a Master of Science degree in civil engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and an MBA from the University of Southern Maine.
Joe has built a reputation across the business and with our customers for the clarity of his thinking and understanding of our industries and markets across the breadth of our portfolio.
