Wood’s civil aerospace projects, are renowned for their innovation, technical competence, and focus on safety and environmental sensitivity.
Some of our recent projects exemplify the exceptional capabilities we have to offer. We provided construction management and project management for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft interiors manufacturing plant and final assembly facility, the largest ever undertaken in the US state of South Carolina. The final result was Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified for energy efficiency, environmental design and sustainability. It includes solar panel roofing and biomass fuel to operate with 100% renewable energy consumption.
