Wood Group’s chief operating officer Robin Watson was the top draw at a popular business lunch event celebrating the deep links between Aberdeen and Houston.
Organised by Aberdeen Houston Gateway, which focuses on bringing together expertise from both sides of the Atlantic, a series of events provided a visiting delegation from the Houston business community the opportunity to network and share knowledge.
In his speech entitled ‘kilted cowboys and the soaring eagle’ Robin spoke passionately about the similarities between Aberdeen and Houston and inspired the delegates to focus on the intangible elements, which give companies their individual personality, as well as the fundamentals of business.
