To accommodate expanding project demand and business growth, and to improve the in-office experience for our 1,200+ regional UK-based people, we recently relocated our Reading and Staines operations to new offices in Green Park in Reading and on London Road in Staines.

Engineering complex global projects in energy and materials

These two offices are known centres of excellence for engineering design, consulting and project delivery. Since 1974, we have been delivering complex global projects in the energy and materials markets in sectors from hydrogen and carbon capture to petrochemicals, upstream oil and gas and refining, including biofuels.

Our teams in these offices work on some of the largest and most complex energy transition projects, engineering world-first facilities that will be instrumental in achieving global climate goals. Teams here work across a truly international base, supporting projects across Europe, the North Sea and the Middle East, and our remarkable people in Reading and Staines are responsible for the design and delivery of some of the world’s largest engineering projects.

“Green Park and London Road are testament to Wood’s growth and ambition. These new spaces will not only help us accommodate our ever-expanding international project and consulting portfolio and workforce but will enhance our work environment.“Green Park and London Road are key to our long-term strategy, solidifying Wood as an employer of choice and positioning us well to continue delivering performance excellence for our clients. I look forward to seeing how our teams continue to collaborate to supercharge delivery for our clients.”
