The Galion Lidar remote sensing device provides wind farm developers powerful options for assessing the wind resource at proposed or operational wind farm sites.

Our portfolio of Galion products is designed for onshore and offshore wind data acquisition. They conduct advanced wind flow profiling of complex wind conditions that impact project performance and asset reliability.

With its unique all-sky scanning capability and up to 4km range, Galion Lidar enables wind conditions to be measured at multiple wind turbine generator (WTG) positions from a single location. Our device can quantify wind speed variation across complex forestry or identify regions of flow separation behind hills. It can also be used for more flexible power curve testing, WTG wake visualisation or low-cost offshore measurements.

This product is only available for sale or rental through Wood.
