PDAC 2020

Wood is an exhibitor and presenter at PDAC 2020, the world’s premier mineral exploration & mining convention  for people, companies and organizations in, or connected with, mineral exploration.

The four-day annual convention held in Toronto, Canada, has grown in size, stature and influence since it began in 1932 and today is the event of choice for the world’s mineral industry. In addition to meeting over 1,100 exhibitors, 2,500 investors and 25,800 attendees from 132 countries, you can also attend technical sessions, short courses and networking events.

Krista Maydew

Krista Maydew leads Wood’s Human Environment Group in Ontario and has over twenty years of varied experience in the areas of socio-economic research, labour force development, Indigenous Peoples engagement and public participation. She is passionate about developing socio-economic management and monitoring plans and strategies to support clients and communities to successfully manage and optimize project-related effects in a collaborative manner. Krista has been working with IAMGOLD on the Côté Gold Project since 2014 supporting community relations, consultation and socio-economic management and monitoring strategies
