At the end of every year, I like to look back and reflect: I look at myself, examine what I have done and more importantly, ask why. I find it useful to review the year, and contemplate if there is something I could have done differently and whether I could have made better decision. I also look at the company and think in similar terms.

What a year it has been - one of tremendous achievements and big challenges, and I would like to thank everybody for their support throughout.

Our great customer relations and excellent execution skills have won some remarkable contract awards and we have further nurtured and enhanced relationships with our existing and potential clients.

One of our proudest highlights, of course, has been the creation of Amec Foster Wheeler, a new and vibrant energy force. We have rebranded our business around the world, launching our new vision, values and business structure, bringing together the talents of our 40,000 strong team to deliver for our customers in 2015 and beyond.

What’s in store for us in 2015? The oil and gas market has not been very favourable and, while I believe the challenging times will continue, we are ready, redefining the ways we work to better reflect the changing needs of our industry. I am confident that in the New Year we will keep delivering excellence and providing value to our customers, from our enlarged global presence and increased capabilities and skills. As employees are our biggest asset, we will also keep focusing on their development, diversity & inclusion, mobility and our new employer brand as we want to be a company people want to work for.

In short, as Amec Foster Wheeler, we will be stepping into 2015 with even stronger focus and determination to succeed, achieving on all our objectives.
