Who manages the Plan?
Our principal UK pension arrangement is the Wood Pension Plan and it is governed by a Trustee Board which is separate from the company. The Plan is divided into Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) sections, the assets for which are held separately from each other and completely independent from the assets of the company.
Meet the team
The Wood UK pensions team is based in Knutsford, Cheshire, and is led by Elaine Hanna, Senior Retirement Manager.
Elaine has responsibility for the development of the company’s UK strategy and policies in respect of retirement provision. She provides strategic management of the in-house pensions admin team and advice to the pension fund trustees on legislative requirements, investment strategy and funding policy.
The UK Pensions Team is responsible for the administration of the Wood Pension Plan including a number of our legacy pension arrangements. Elaine is responsible for the scheme administration and relationships with members and is supported by an experienced administration team.

Meet the Trustee Directors
The trustee of the Wood Pension Plan is Wood Pensions Trustee Limited. This company has nine Trustee Directors, with four being nominated by the Plan's membership and five by the company, including two independent professional trustees.

| Carolan Dobson (Independent) | A career-long investment expert, who is currently Chair of Brunner Investment Trust plc, Baillie Gifford UK Growth Trust plc, Blackrock Latin American Investment Trust plc and a Non-Executive Director of Aberdeen Standard Fund Managers Limited, M&G Securities Ltd and Investment Trustee and Adviser Ltd. She also spent five years on the Board of NEST Corporation, the UK’s largest workplace pension scheme set up by the UK Government. |
