Wood is recognised for achievements in innovation to tackle climate change
For a fifth consecutive year, Wood ranked Platinum Elite in Renew Canada’s annual Top100 listing of the country’s largest public sector infrastructure projects currently under development.
Platinum elite is the highest tier of project engagement on the report, with Wood’s overall involvement in 39 of the 100 projects, including direct engagement in all top seven projects listed.
The combined total project costs in the report were at an all-time high of CAD $273 billion, due to an increase in transit and healthcare projects, and growth in contracts for large scale construction.
Joe Sczurko, Executive President of Wood’s consulting business, commented: “It’s an honor to be recognized with such distinction in the Top100 project report for the fifth consecutive year. These infrastructure projects, like our business in Canada, span from coast to coast across the country and improve the quality of Canada’s transportation, water, energy, transit, environmental protection, and cultural assets. It’s a great privilege for our talented professionals to be identified for our important work and collaboration on a multitude of these important and innovative projects.”
