Robin secured the Large Business Director of the Year accolade at a ceremony held in London on Friday (18 October).
The judges commended Robin for his “strong vision to drive and succeed ensuring all stakeholders are involved and on board” and implementation of “a diversified board with strong leadership”, praising this as “a great combination for a large business”.
Celebrating the talent, success and achievements of those leading businesses in the UK, Robin was honoured among respected figures representing a cross section of industries and sectors.
Commenting on the honour, Robin said: “This award truly represents the achievements of our 60,000-strong, global Wood community. I am extremely proud of what we are accomplishing together as a diversified and differentiated business and share this recognition from the IoD with our people, who make our success possible.”
This accolade follows Robin’s recognition as Large Business Director of the year at the IoD Scotland awards in May.
