New Executive President of Projects at Wood appointed

Wood, a global leader in consulting and engineering across energy and materials markets, has appointed Nick Shorten as Executive President of its Projects business unit.

Nick is a seasoned executive with more than 35 years of leadership experience in the oil and gas, chemicals, and marine industries. Since 2024, he has served as President of Growth & Development within Wood’s Projects business unit, playing a key role in driving strategic initiatives and fostering sustainable growth.

Throughout his career, Nick has held senior roles with full business accountability, overseeing the successful delivery of major projects through all phases of their lifecycle. He brings to the role a strong combination of commercial and technical acumen, operational excellence, and a proven track record in business development and strategic execution.
